In the process of smashing with glee, collecting and building stuff, you’ll get to whack some enemies and some wildlife. More importantly, populated by sooooo many things for you to smash, destroy and pulverize into pieces, collect what remains and then use those remains to craft or upgrade one of the bajillion things available to you. Good thing you can turn them off, but I wouldn’t raise an eyebrow if they somehow magically poofed out of the game. There are no dark, creepy corners, black shadows and streaks of light through dirty windows, but the world still looks abandoned, desolate and taken over by nature. Dysmantle is out now for the PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.Dysmantle is a really slick, polished and competent Early Access game with an abundance of content even at this early stage. – Fixed main quest getting stuck by not acknowledging all the found fuel cells. – Timed crate gold medal had wrong amount of crates found required (51, is now 52). – Fixed Crowbar missing most of its upgrade effects. – Fixed discrepancies between some texts and voiceovers not matching. – Radio achievement now takes into account radios in shelters. – Campfire achievements now uses the correct amount of campfires. – Fixes to faulty positioning of co-op player spawns. – “Arcade is dead” cabinet can now be searched only once. – Materials do not disappear anymore when starting a co-op game when saving is not possible. – “Riot Shield” HP now shown correctly after quick swap. – Fixed an issue with the “Ark” level 2 door not opening when it should. – Not possible to destroy “Fortress” entrance doors through the main gate any more. – Quest text locations show up properly in all stages. – Russian now uses the same font as other languages. ![]() – Faster material pick up (more materials picked up at once). – Invent screen has less empty space around the grid. – Added fishing xp buff modifier to “Tackle” and fixed some faulty modifiers. – Hunting rifle now has modifiers for all upgrade levels (conceptually a high crit dmg & chance weapon). – Invention notification now makes a sound. – It is now possible to walk through a dead co-op player. – The collection now shows zero for materials that the player does not carry or have in the storage. – The survivor now respawns at the home shelter if he dies consecutively three times in a very short period of time. – Plant beds can now be destroyed with a shovel. – Buffed trinket effects for “Shock Absorber” and “Rabbit’s Foot”. – Buffed the “Leaper” enemy damage on all attacks a bit as the enemy was underperforming compared to specs. – Language menu sets cursor focus over current language. – Language menu sorts languages by language code (always shows reference language first). – UI tweaks (mostly for touch interfaces). – New spit attack pattern for the “Puker”. – “Dentured Fangs” and “Berserker Charm” can be upgraded.
